NORWAY SPEEDWAY CAR SHOW RETURNS TO
RECREATION LANES IN IRON MOUNTAIN MAY 18 (Season opener at the third-mile, paved oval set for May 24)
(Norway, MI) April 30 – Norway Speedway’s 2019 season will kick off with a race car show at Recreation Lanes in Iron Mountain Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The show will be followed by a practice session open to cars in any division that take part in the show from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Cost is $10 per person to enter the pits with grandstand admission for fans free for this event.
The car show was held at Recreation Lanes in 1992 and boasted a solid turnout. John Kohler will be broadcasting live from the car show on Frog Country 106.7 The Mountain. Race cars from all tracks are welcome to partake in the car show.
Weekly Friday night racing kicks off May 24 with the grandstand opening at 5 p.m. Time trials begin at 5:45 p.m. with the first green flag of the ’19 season flying at 7 p.m.
