Bristol Motor Speedway – Following the race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, it didn’t take the young driver long before she was already talking about how excited she was to race this Saturday at Bristol Motor Speedway. The 19-year-old grew up racing on various short tracks including the .5-mile track of Five Flags Speedway where she won the prestigious Snowball Derby. She has one prior start at the .533-mile oval, which took place last August in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS). She grabbed her first top-15 place finish in the truck series here at Bristol.
Johanna on Bristol – “If there is one track that I look forward to racing at the most, it’s definitely Bristol!” says Long. “I’m anxious to get back to my roots of racing. It’s going to be extremely intense because everything happens so fast on short tracks. As long as we stay out of trouble and have good track position all day, I think we should have a strong finish.”
Last Race Recap – Long and the No. 70 ML Motorsports team had a solid top-20 run at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. She fought loose conditions early on, but the team continued to make several adjustments all day, and she was able to register a 19th place finish in only her second NASCAR Nationwide Series start.
The No. 70 Biomet/Foretravel Motor Coach Chevrolet – Long is excited about racing chassis No. 62 in “Thunder Valley.” Over the off season she tested the car at Walt Disney World Speedway and Gresham Motorsport Speedway. She took to the car extremely well.
Leading up to Bristol – Before heading to Bristol, Long will participate in the Food City Race night appearance at the Knoxville Expo Center in Knoxville, TN on Thursday, March 15. Johanna along with other drivers will be signing autographs from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm EST.

About ML Motorsports:
Driven by the idea of building a successful race team that would stick to its roots and operate out of Warsaw, Indiana, Mary Louise Miller founded ML Motorsports in 1998. During the first seven years of the team's existence, ML Motorsports competed in the ARCA RE/MAX Series, where they finished in the top 10 in points for five straight seasons. In 2005, ML Motorsports advanced to the then NASCAR Busch Series. With the endless commitment and support from Miller, along with the hard work and dedication from its team members, ML Motorsports quickly became contenders in NASCAR’s elite series.
