HELENA, California (November 9, 2020) – Officially fastening a lid on his 2020 campaign, St. Helena, California’s Rico Abreu made the tow to the Stockton Dirt Track in Stockton, California, during the recent weekend and participated in the annual Tribute to Gary Patterson. A former winner of the King of the West presented by NARC program, Abreu concluded his evening with a podium result, ultimately climbing ahead two spots after starting fourth on the feature grid.Abreu solidified his spot within the first two rows after finishing third during his respective heat race, eventually finishing fourth in the evening’s dash.With his Tribute to Gary Patterson result included, Abreu will enter the 2020 off-season with 33 top-ten finishes in 56 starts, 27 of which accomplished inside the top-five. In addition, Abreu attained six victories during the recent season, one of which accompanied by a $10,000 payday; Attica Ambush finale on Saturday, September 5.“It was definitely a gnarly, elbows up kind of race track at Stockton on Saturday, but it was fun and I’m proud of our results.
