The $20,000-to-win program welcomed over 50 of the nation’s finest open wheel competitors with Abreu utilizing a heat race victory to secure his place in the 40-lap finale.Other weekend highlights include finishing second during Lincoln’s Weldon Sterner Memorial on Wednesday, September 16, as well as finishing fifth during BAPS Motor Speedway’s Kevin Gobrecht Classic on Thursday, September 17.
