FOX RIVER RACING CLUB WIR’S “TECH, TEST AND TUNE” SET FOR SATURDAY MAY 30

(Annual practice and inspection slated from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

(KAUKAUNA, WI) – The Fox River Racing Club (FRRC), the club that operates the weekly “Thursday Night Thunder” racing program at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna, has announced their season opening “Tech, Test And Tune” will take place Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The practice, which will be open to cars in any-and-all divisions on both the D-shaped, half-mile and quarter-mile, paved ovals, will be free to fans.

Social distancing, including the recommended wearing of masks is encouraged. The season opener for “Thursday Night Thunder” action is slated for Thursday night, June 4 with the Les Stumpf Ford/L & S Truck Center night at the races.

A full field of super late models, late models, ¼ mile late models, super stocks, sport trucks, Sizzlin’ 4’s and the wild-and-crazy, meet-‘em-in-the-middle Figure 8’s will be in action opening night. The FRRC’s new V6 “Rockin’ Roval” division will make it’s debut June 11. The ¼ mile late models and the “Rockin’ Rovals” will alternate every other week on Thursday nights.

The 15 date Thursday night season is set to wrap up on championship night, September 3 on Valley Liquor Fan Appreciation Night.
