Sage Fruit Go-Kart Spectacular and Tony’s KARTAPALOOZA Engage Fans

INDIANAPOLIS (July 30 2019) – Fans traveling to the 59th Annual NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey’s General Stores want to add Tony Stewart’s KARTAPALOOZA to their must-do list of activities for August 7. The Sage Fruit Company Go-Kart Spectacular returns alongside the Sage Fruit Pie Eating Contest and the FETCH! game featuring K9 Dallas of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office for a day of fun at Slideways Karting Center in Knoxville, Iowa.

Fans can race head-to-head with Stewart and Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers Kyle Larson (No. 42) and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. (No. 17) each who followed Stewart’s path from the dirt tracks to NASCAR. Joining this powerful trio are World of Outlaws drivers Brian Brown (No. 41) and McKenna “Sassy” Haase (No. 55). Limited to 50 driver entries, this exciting competition is about skill and fun. As Tony says it best, “Hijinks will abound.”

KARTAPALOOZA featuring the Go-Kart Spectacular raises funds that directly benefit chronically ill and physically disabled children, animals that are endangered or at-risk, and drivers injured in the sport of motor racing through the Grants Program that has distributed more than $7.5M nationally.

“My foundation is absolutely elevating programs and bringing well-deserved attention to outstanding charity partners,” Stewart said. “My racing career has been and continues to be very successful. The foundation offers me the opportunity to turn success into significance.”

Slideways Karting Center is featuring a specialty menu and cocktail list using Sage Fruit apples and peaches. A live DJ is spinning records and calling the action.

Slideways Karting Center is providing non-stop shuttle service between Knoxville Raceway and the karting center starting at 9:30 AM

Those interested in helping kids, animals and injured drivers are encouraged to head over to Slideways on Wednesday, August 7. Whether a competitor or a spectator, fans of all ages are certain to enjoy KARTAPALOOZA.
