(Norway, MI) July 19 – Vulcan’s Dan Lindsley passed veteran Bruce White for the lead on lap 26 and held on to win the rain-shortened, 33 lap Auto Value Series feature at Norway Speedway Friday night.
It was another Vulcan driver – defending super stock champion Tim Schultz – who motored around Andy Gerwig for the lead and the win in the super stock class.
Mother Nature was the winner in the other divisions as lightning and rain forced track officials to cancel the balance of the program.
Next Friday night July 26 Norway Speedway will host the annual “Norway Speedway Hall of Fame” Night. The class of ’19 inductees include Mike Kelly, Herb Iverson, Mike Kangas, Leroy Sovey, Bob Busch and Henry Wender. The Vintage modifieds will also be an added attraction.
