Receiving more than an inch of rain in the last week, with most of it falling on Thursday and Friday, plus a misty, cold Saturday morning, promoters Jason and Kristin Flory cancelled the races for Saturday night, making it three weeks without racing at Wayne County Speedway because of soggy conditions. The O’Reilly Auto Parts ‘Race to the Championship’ points battle for the Pine Tree Towing & Recovery Sprints, the Malcuit Tavern Super Late Models, the McKenzie Concrete Super Stocks and the JoyRide Transportation Mini Stocks is the schedule for Saturday, May 11th. There will also be Big Wheel and Bicycle races for the kids. Gates will open at 4 pm with Hot Laps at 6 pm and racing beginning at 7 pm.

Tickets are on sale now for the World of Outlaw Morton Buildings Late Model race on Saturday, May 18th that will pay the winner of the 50 lap feature, $10,000. Go to the World of Outlaw website and click on the Morton Buildings Late Model logo and then go to the Wayne County Speedway line and click on to the Buy Tickets. The McKenzie Concrete Super Stocks and the JoyRide Transportation Mini Stocks will be competing for more O’Reilly Auto Parts ‘Race to the Championship’ points also.
