Donny Schatz, Charlotte Motor Speedway Mascot To Appear During World Finals Weekend
Brownsburg, Ind. (Oct. 30, 2018) – Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing’s (TSR) Donny Schatz will appear at Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) in Kannapolis, NC on Friday, Nov. 2 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. EDT.
Friday’s appearance is in conjunction with the World of Outlaws (WoO) World Finals weekend at The Dirt Track @ Charlotte Motor Speedway this Thursday through Saturday (Nov. 1 – 3). Schatz will sign autographs, take photos with customers and will be joined at the dealership by Charlotte Motor Speedway mascot, Lug Nut. Fans will also have an opportunity to take an up-close look at the No. 15 Textron Off Road/Sage Fruit/Curb/Ford Performance/J&J Auto Racing entry driven by Schatz.
By virtue of signing in for this weekend’s World Finals event, Schatz will claim his 10th career WoO Sprint Car Series championship. Having posted 21 WoO victories thus far in 2018, Schatz holds an unsurmountable 278-point lead in the series standings. The North Dakota native has won 11 times at The Dirt Track @ Charlotte Motor Speedway in his career.
