Todd Metz Jr. Fastest In FWD Qualifying Before Rain @ Super Shoe XXXII

KALAMAZOO, MI – Todd Metz Jr. was the fastest FWD on the property in the first round of group qualifying on Friday of Super Shoe Nationals XXXII. Metz ran a lap of 15.087 seconds at 89.481mph to top the charts. Corey Woods was second quick ahead of Doug Smith, Dale Leonard and Dave Leonard Jr. Sheldon Lindlag led the second half of the top ten over Zack Woods, Camille Lewis, Bob Brown and Todd Westendorf Jr.

The RWD division had just begun their first group qualifying session when the rain began falling. Speedway officials waited over two hours but the rain didn’t let up forcing the cancellation of the rest of Friday’s activities. Saturday will be a full day of group qualifying and racing. Despite Friday’s rain Saturday’s schedule will remain as originally posted.
