BROWNSBURG, Ind. (September 20, 2018) – Two events remain on the 2018 Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 schedule, a return to the World’s Greatest Dirt Track included.

Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, will help the All Star Circuit of Champions close down a season, as well as define a champion, this Saturday night, September 22, as America’s Series returns to The Big E for the 37th running of the Four Crown Nationals. Joining USAC’s premier divisions which includes the USAC National Sprints, Midgets, and Silver Crown Series, the All Stars will make up the fourth and final division of the coveted Four Crown Nationals program, chasing a grand prize equaling $5,000.

Although the Eldora visit does not wrap up the All Star season completely, it does end a busy September schedule for the traveling Series, as well as give fans one last chance to witness the All Stars in the Buckeye State.

Tony Stewart’s All Stars will conclude the 2018 season, officially, on Saturday, October 6, at Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, Indiana.

Chasing a first-ever All Star Circuit of Champions title, Clute, Texas’ Aaron Reutzel is just two starts away from clinching that historic feat. Although the title is far from locked, Reutzel will enter the Eldora Speedway gates as the current All Star Circuit of Champions driver leader, as well as the current primary wheel man for All Star owner points leader, Baughman-Reutzel Motorsports. The driver title is important, but clinching a championship for Baughman-Reutzel Motorsports is just as crucial, as the owner championship awards a top prize equaling $50,000.

The aforementioned championship battles are tight heading into the final two rounds with only 16 points separating Reutzel from Carson Macedo in the driver standings. If that is not close enough, Baughman-Reutzel Motorsports holds a mere-eight point advantage in the current owner chase, barely holding back Paul McMahan’s entry owned and operated by Tom Buch.

A campaign padded by victory, Reutzel has amassed eight wins during All Star Circuit of Champions competition in 2018, three more than the second-leading winner Carson Macedo, who has five including three in the state of the New York. In fact, all drivers within the top-five of the current All Star driver championship have earned victories this season; Reutzel (8), Macedo (5), Kemenah (2), McMahan (2), and Dave Blaney (1).

Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, will open pit gates at 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 22. A mandatory All Star drivers meeting will take shape at 4:30 p.m., followed by hot laps beginning with USAC at 6 p.m. Those seeking additional news and notes should visit Eldora Speedway live on the Web at www.eldoraspeedway.com.
