SIX SET FOR NORWAY SPEEDWAY’S CLASS OF ’18 HOF INDUCTIONS ON JULY 27

(Vintage modifieds and UTV’s all on tap for busy, exciting night at the paved third-mile oval)

(Norway, MI) – Norway Speedway will induct the six new members into the track’s Hall of Fame Friday July 27 on what’s expected to be a very busy, exciting night for race fans.

In addition to the HOF inductions the Vintage Modifieds will tour the track in a throwback to yesteryear, while local UTV drivers will put on a pair of exhibition races.

The six inductees include longtime board member Peg Baciak of Vulcan, longtime sponsors Elwood Anderson of ERA Chevrolet and Paula Pieropon of the Thirsty Whale Bar and Grill, former DCRA president and board member Ken Johnson and former racers Duke Gardiner and Joe Haferkorn.

An action packed night is on tap with the Coca Cola late models, Auto Value super stocks, 141 Auto sportsman and stock fours. Norway Speedway remains one of the “cheapest dates” around northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan with its $10 adult ticket and carry-ins allowed in the grandstand (no glass containers allowed).

The July 27 show is brought to you by Baker Sign Company, Grow Maxx and DaVape Escape and presented by Iron Range Farm Bureau and Insight FS.

The pit gates open at 3 p.m. Qualifying begins at 5:30 p.m. and racing gets underway at 7 p.m.  Norway Speedway is located at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds in Norway.
