Heavy morning rain led to wet conditions at Crystal Motor Speedway Saturday, causing the cancellation of racing events. The MARFC (Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club) Night has been rescheduled for August 11th.
In other noteworthy news, long time CMS scorer, Sue Lincoln, has been elected into the Michigan Motor Sports Hall of Fame. That induction will be in early November in Mt. Pleasant.
Next week at Crystal Motor Speedway is the Mid-Season Championship night, sponsored by Engine Pro. It’s also the ‘Twin Flinn’ race where two simultaneous races are going on at the same time in opposite directions.
