SHREVE, Ohio (June 4, 2018) – Trevor Baker’s 2018 campaign continued with a pair of starts in the Buckeye State, first visiting Attica Raceway Park on Friday, June 1, followed by a start at Sharon Speedway on Saturday, June 2. Baker was scored 19th at Attica after suffering from engine trouble, eventually rebounding for a 17th place performance on Saturday at Sharon.
Although dissatisfied from a statistical standpoint, Baker’s weekend was a great confidence booster, already looking ahead to Ohio Sprint Speedweek when the Shreve, Ohio, native will get to revisit Sharon Speedway.
“We aren’t striving to finish where we did, but we are definitely feeling more and more comfortable with the car. That’s all we can ask for right now. We haven’t been racing enough to build some solid momentum, but we are getting there in a hurry,” Baker explained, driver of the T-Rev Performance/Baker’s Mobile Home Transport/Exodus Cycle/Coblentz Trucking/H&S Concrete/Mid Ohio Diesel/Amsoil Stone Creek Lube/No. 45 sprint car. “I’m already excited to go back to Sharon during Ohio Sprint Speedweek. No doubt that there will be a large car count with a lot of talent included. Just making the show that night will be a real test.”
Before Ohio Sprint Speedweek begins on Friday, June 15, Trevor Baker will once again join the FAST Series for action at Attica Raceway Park on Friday, June 8.
