WoO LATE MODELS, OHIO SPRINT SPEEDWEEK & NTPA HEADED FOR WAYNE COUNTY SPEEDWAY IN JUNE

  Along with the calendar changing months to June, NAPA Jani Auto Parts Wayne County Speedway is also hoping for a change in the weather pattern as four of the seven racing dates have been wiped out do to wet weather so far this season. Starting out the new month on the 2nd of June will be the Attica Raceway Park/ Wayne County Speedway Super Late Model Series that will start the night before at ARP. This 6 race series between the two tracks is beginning it’s 5th season with Ryan Markham and Doug Drown alternating the championship crown the first four years. Along with the Kar Connection Super Late Models will be the Pine Tree Towing & Recovery Sprints the CorBon Super Stocks and the WQKT 104.5 Mini Stocks will run a full program plus their features that were rained out on May 12th.

  On Saturday, June 9th, it will be another Fast Four Racing program with the above mentioned four class’ of cars and it will be Mid Season Championships and double points for all drivers competing.

   Then the schedule will go big for the next three events as the World of Outlaw Late Models roll in on Saturday, June 16th for a $10,000 to win 50 lap race. Dresden’s Devin Moran, the only Ohio driver on the WoO tour will be gunning for a win in his home state against not only the tour regulars but Wayne County Speedway’s tough bunch of regulars. The CorBon Super Stocks and the WQKT 104.5 Mini Stocks are also on the racing card.

   Two nights later, the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions Ohio Sprint Speedweek show returns on Monday, June 18th for the Duffy Smith Memorial. The race will pay $5,000 to win and usually draws in some big names in racing as last year NASCAR’S Kyle Larson won the race with Kasey Kahne in second. Only the ASCoC will be racing on that night.

   For the first time ever, the National Tractor Pullers Association (NTPA) will pull into ‘Orrville’s Historic Oval’ on Saturday, June 23rd and they will feature the Pro Stocks, Limited Pro Stocks and 2 wheel drive Trucks for a sanctioned regional pulling event. NTPA is the world’s #1 sanctioning organization.

   The month of June will wind up on Saturday the 30th with a Fast Four Racing Program featuring the Ohio Valley Sprint Car Association in to join the Kar Connection Super Late Models, the CorBon Super Stocks and the WQKT 104.5 Mini Stocks.
