The Week of Indy kicks off THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT at the Terre Haute Action Track when the USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car Series takes on the challenging 1/2 dirt at the Vigo County Fairgrounds. Gates open Wednesday at the Action Track at 4pm. hot laps start at 6:30p.
On THURSDAY, May 24th, the big cars return to the mile as the Hoosier 100 kicks off the Silver Crown series for a back – back dirt and pavement special in Indy. Night one features a field of nearly 40 dirt champ cars trying to qualify into a 30 car starting grid. The Hoosier 100 gates open at 3:00 pm. hot laps at 5:00pm and racing at 7:00pm.
On FRIDAY, the Dave Steele Carb Night Classic will feature the Silver Crown cars on the pavement at Lucas Oil Raceway. The 100 lap feature event will open to the public at 2:45pm, with on track action at 3pm, qualifying staring at 5:00pm.
