PITTSBURGH, Pa. (May 14, 2018) – Jared Miley’s 2018 campaign took a dramatic turn during the recent weekend, not only making his first marks in the win column, but accomplishing victories at two tracks in two states, one of which worth $5,000.

Miley, now the full-time ace of Joe Corrado’s Blue Mountain Energy/Penn Star Ventures/Colussy Chevrolet/Jay’s Auto Wrecking/No. 10 super late model, kicked-off his winning weekend with a victory at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pa., on Friday, May 11. The former Lernerville Speedway champion earned his first Lernerville win of the season during Fab4 weekly competition; his first victory at the 4/10-mile oval since 2016.

Completing his weekend sweep, Miley earned his second victory of the weekend during competition at Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, W.Va., on Saturday, May 12. Now a three-time Earl Hill Memorial champion at The Bullring, Miley earned $5,000 for his triumph, securing the big payday with an early move in traffic around race leader, Tyler Carpenter.

“That was an awesome weekend. I think we have a great team, so it was only a matter of time before we found ourselves in victory lane. Fortunately for us, we were able to relive the first win one night later,” Miley explained. “It’s always nice to visit Lernerville Speedway and get a win. Many of our partners are located near there, so it gives them, as well as our families, an opportunity to come to the track and watch us compete. Tyler County has always been good to us. The Earl Hill Memorial is a prestigious event. To say we won it three times is pretty cool. We’ll try to make it four in 2019.”

Jared Miley will continue his 2018 campaign with ULMS Racing Series competition at Thunder Mountain Speedway on Friday, May 18. The Pittsburgh native will battle for a $3,000 top prize during his visit to the Brookville-area venue, working to park in Thunder Mountain Speedway victory lane during ULMS competition for a second consecutive season. Miley is a former ULMS Racing Series champion.
