PITTSBURGH, Pa. (April 23, 2018) – Making the two and a half hour tow west to Midway Speedway in Crooksville, Ohio, proved to be worth the effort for Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania’s Jared Miley, not only securing his first podium performance of the 2018 season, but also earning his first podium performance under new car owner, Joe Corrado.

Miley, driver of the Joe Corrado-owned/Mountain Energy/Penn Star Ventures/Colussy Chevrolet/Jay’s Auto Wrecking/No. 10 super late model, advanced four main event positions during his visit to the 3/8-mile, red clay oval, driving ahead from the inside of row four to finish third during the King of Hillbilly Hill finale worth $5,000.

“The track was a little rough, but we made it through. It was a great way to shake off the last bit of rust we had left,” Miley explained regarding his start at Midway Speedway. “I can’t thank Joe Corrado and everyone involved enough for their hard work and dedication. I’m sure this is just the first of many top-five finishes for this team in 2018. We have a lot of great potential. We plan to put that potential to work each and every weekend. That first win is coming soon.”

Chasing a total winner’s share equalling $8,000 during the upcoming weekend, “The Jet” Jared Miley will join the ULMS Racing Series for a trio of programs in the Keystone State this Friday through Sunday, April 27-29, following the Pennsylvania-based super late model series to Thunder Mountain Speedway, Port Royal Speedway, and Tri-City Raceway Park, respectively.

Certainly no stranger to the aforementioned dirt ovals, Miley will the enter the high-dollar weekend with experience in the form of victories at two out of the three dirt ovals, most recently earning a ULMS Racing Series victory at Thunder Mountain Speedway in 2017.

The ULMS events at Thunder Mountain Speedway near Brookville, and Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, will each award $3,000 top prizes, while the visit to Tri-City Raceway Park near Franklin, Pa., will award $2,000.
