By Fully Injected Motorsports:

ELIDA, OH (October 9, 2017) – Wrapping up a career year for the Elida, Ohio, youngster, “Mad Max” Stambaugh will conclude his rookie season with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions with a two-race weekend in the Buckeye State, this time returning to familiar territory at Mansfield Motor Speedway and Eldora Speedway on Friday and Saturday, October 13-14.

Three main events will be conducted during his two day trip with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions; two at Mansfield Motor Speedway and one at Eldora Speedway. In addition to a full program at each stop, Mansfield Motor Speedway will also host a make-up feature that was originally scheduled for late May; “Mad Max” will start tenth.

Stambaugh will enter his final weekend of competition with “America’s Series” as the leading Rookie of the Year contender; currently fourth in the Arctic Cat All Star driver championship by accumulating 11 top-ten finishes in 37 feature starts.

“What a year. I can’t believe it is almost over,” Stambaugh said, pilot of the Ray Marshall Motorsports/Buckeye Machine Fabricators/Fastenal of Kenton/No. 33M. “I can’t thank Ray Marshall enough for giving me this opportunity. We had our ups and downs, but as a rookie we expected that to happen. To enter the last weekend of action as the leading rookie is pretty special. I think we are on pace to clinch that award. I’m excited to get the weekend going.”

During recent Arctic Cat All Star competition, Stambaugh and Ray Marshall Motorsports finished sixth at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio, on Saturday, October 7. Stambaugh advanced one position during the 30-lap program, earning a spot in the $5,000-to-win dance by winning his respective heat race.
