Michael to conclude All Star season with visits to Mansfield and Eldora

FREMONT, OH (October 9, 2017) – The “Texas Traveler” T.J. Michael will conclude his sophomore season with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions with a pair of stops in the Buckeye State, this time visiting Mansfield Motor Speedway and Eldora Speedway on Friday and Saturday, October 13-14.
Michael, pilot of the Michael Motorsports/Advanced Cast Stone/Fremont Fence Company/Kear’s Speed Shop/Hinchman Suits/Big D’s Pizza of Fremont and Clyde/Crown Battery/Kistler Racing Engines/No. 8M, will kick off his final weekend of Arctic Cat All Star competition with a double feature program at Mansfield Motor Speedway on Friday, October 13. The Arctic Cat All Stars will conduct a full program, as well as a make-up feature that was originally scheduled for late May. The “Texas Traveler” is scheduled to start 19th.
Michael’s sophomore season will officially conclude on Saturday, October 14, at the legendary Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The World’s Greatest Dirt Track will host the annual “Last Call For Methanol” during the upcoming weekend featuring non-wing sprint cars, the NRA Sprint Invaders and the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions.
Michael will enter the weekend seventh in the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions standings, earning a pair of top-ten finishes on the season, as well as 27 feature starts during Series competition.
“This is our last weekend of action with the All Stars, but we still have a lot of work to do,” Michael explained, the 2016 Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions Rookie of the Year runner-up. “Things have been up and down this year, for sure, but we are still looking for ways to get that first All Star win. We’ll have three attempts to get it done this weekend. To end the season on a few high notes would be the ultimate momentum boost heading into the off season.”

2016 Highlights: Earned a pair of top-ten finishes on June 10/11 with FAST Series and Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions. Michael finished fifth with FAST on Friday, June 10, at Attica Raceway Park, followed by a sixth place finish at Butler Speedway in Butler, Michigan, with Arctic Cat All Stars on Saturday, June 11.
2017 Highlights: Finished ninth during Attica Raceway Park season opener on Friday, March 24. Earned B-main victory on Saturday, June 3, at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Earned top-ten finish (8th) at Macon (IL) Speedway on Saturday, June 10. Charged from 26th to finish 12th at Wayne County Speedway on Monday, June 19, during Ohio Sprint Speedweek. Earned top-ten finish (8th) at Orange County (NY) Fair Speedway on Saturday, July 29.
