Armstrong scores top-ten at Bedford; Eldora Speedway visit next

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

NEW CASTLE, IN (August 18, 2017) – Caleb Armstrong experienced highs and lows during his recent weekend of competition, ultimately rebounding after a crash on Saturday night during the Jim Nace Memorial at Selinsgrove Speedway to finish inside the top-ten at the Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway on Sunday, September 17. For Armstrong, the top-ten finish was his 17th of the 2017 season, advancing from tenth to finish eighth, officially, during the 30-lap, $5,000-to-win, inaugural Harvest Dirt Classic.

The New Castle, Indiana, native qualified for the final Arctic Cat All Star event in the state of Pennsylvania by finishing third during his respective heat race.

“It was a wild weekend, for sure. It sucked getting involved in that crash on Saturday at Selinsgrove, but we were able to rebuild and rebound, and that’s what’s most important,” Armstrong said, pilot of the Baker Crop Insurance/Neal Metal Recycling/Armstrong Farms/No. 7C. “We don’t have much left on our schedule this year. I would like to stretch our top-ten count to 20 and maintain a podium spot within the championship.”

Caleb Armstrong will continue his 2017 Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions campaign with a visit to the World’s Greatest Dirt Track – the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, on Saturday, September 23. The 36th Annual Four Crown Nationals will be the main attraction at The Big E, welcoming not only Tony Stewart’s Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions, but also all three national USAC divisions; a “must see” for any open wheel enthusiast.

Armstrong will enter the weekend third in the Arctic Cat All Star championship standings.
