SEPTEMBER 2 MOTTVILLE SPEEDWAY RESULTS!!
MOTTVILLE, MI. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 , 2017.
Mottville Stock points leader Dennis Yoder won his 3rd feature of the season, MTC points leader Tobiace Wheeler his 11th and Hornet driver Ed Martz won his 8th feature of the season in racing action Saturday night as the historic Mottville Speedway kicked off a double header week-end!
Bobby Laughter took 2nd in the MS and Yoder also won the pursuit and heat.
Eric Root was 2nd in the MTC and Wheeler also won the pursuit and heat!
Following Martz were James Harman, Adam Bradford, Derk Sargent (back at Mottville for the first time since 2003!), and Mike Jones.
Emily Root was unable to start the feature due to mechanical woes.
Martz won the pursuit over Harman and Root, the dash over Root and Bradford and the heat over Harman and Bradford.
Keri Martz drove our first Bomber car in the opening parade lap and Root Racing had a 2nd Bomber car in the pits which they hope to have ready for racing Monday!
If we have two Bombers we will run an exhibition heat and once we have 3 Bombers they will be part of regular racing!
MONDAY we open at 4 and race at 5!
LABOR DAY MONDAY, SQUADRON 189, SONS OF THE AMERICAN LEGION IN WALKERTON, will sponsor a TROPHY NIGHT!
Trophies to all heat and dash winners and top 4 in each feature!
Coming Saturday, October 7 it is the 3rd ANNUAL VICTOR KROMETZ MEMORIAL TROPHY NIGHT SPONSORED BY BULLET RACE CARS!
