JONESTOWN, PA (August 29, 2017) – Entering the long, holiday weekend as one of Central Pennsylvania’s most decorated sprint car competitors of 2017, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss will now prepare for four events in four days, anxious to tackle a pair of events at Williams Grove Speedway, as well as a pair of events at Port Royal Speedway, one of which 66 years in the making.

Brock Zearfoss will visit Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, September 1, and Sunday, September 3, during his Labor Day weekend schedule. On Friday evening, the world-famous half-mile will host the Van May Tribute worth $4,069 to the main event winner, followed by the $3,800-to-win, 10th Annual Billy Kimmel Memorial just two days later.

Zearfoss, a recent winner at Williams Grove Speedway against the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series, will pilot the Aaron Long-owned/LA Competition/H&N Landscaping/RV 4 Wheel Drive/Leahys Auto Body & Towing/No. 58 during each of his Williams Grove Speedway starts, most recently advancing from row four to finish third aboard the LA Competition entry on Friday, August 25.

In conjunction with the 163rd Annual Juniata County Fair, Zearfoss’ Port Royal Speedway visits will take shape on Saturday, September 2, and Monday, September 4, highlighted with the 66th Annual Labor Day Classic on Monday afternoon worth $4,000. As a current Port Royal Speedway championship contender, Zearfoss will enter the weekend with four victories on the season at the “Speed Palace,” most recently visiting the victory lane stage on Saturday, August 26. The victory, which set a new 25-lap record, was the result of a charge from 11th on the feature grid. Zearfoss is a mere-95 points out of the Port Royal Speedway championship lead.

“The last month or so has been unbelievable. Our Maxim Chassis has been an absolute rocket,” Zearfoss explained, pilot of the Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Meckley’s Limestone/Central Builders Supply Co./Berkebile Oil Company/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/No. 3Z. “We have a lot on the line during the next few weeks at Port Royal Speedway. There are some big money races, but we are also hunting for a championship. We’ve been on a roll, so I’m confident that we are going to accomplish big things during the next few weeks.”
