Dietrich will hunt for four victories in four days during Labor Day weekend

Scored tenth win of 2017 at Lincoln Speedway on August 26

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

GETTYSBURG, PA (August 29, 2017) – After recording back-to-back podium finishes in Central Pennsylvania, one of which the result of a charge from 11th to win at Lincoln Speedway on August 26, “Double-D” Danny Dietrich will now turn his focus toward a Labor Day foursome; four events in four days at potentially three different race tracks. Although the overall plan has not been finalized, Dietrich will work to add depth to his ever-growing win column which has extended to ten victories thus far in 2017.

“We’ve been having a pretty good year. I’m happy with how things have been turning out,” Danny Dietrich explained. “The plan is to race all four nights this weekend. I’m not real sure about Saturday just yet, but the other three nights are pretty much set in stone. I can’t thank Gary Kauffman, Tom Buch and everyone else involved enough for their support. I wouldn’t be where I am without them.”

Danny Dietrich’s long, holiday weekend in Central Pennsylvania will kick off on Friday evening, September 1, with the Van May Tribute at Williams Grove Speedway. The Gettysburg native will return to the world-famous half-mile on Sunday evening, September 3, for the 10th Annual Billy Kimmel Memorial awarding $3,800.

Despite his plan for Saturday, September 2, still unsettled, the pilot of the Gary Kauffman Racing/Weikert’s Livestock/Sandoe’s Fruit Market/Pace Performance/Gsell’s Whitetails/Hickory Run Orchards/Carlisle Auto Salvage/CATS Used Truck Parts/Drop Of Ink Tattoo/Bowman Block & Head Repair/Sweeney Cars/Self Made/No. 48 is for certain going to end his Labor Day weekend campaign at the Juniata County Fairgrounds in Port Royal on Monday afternoon, September 4. In hopes that history repeats itself, Danny Dietrich will hunt for a second consecutive Labor Day Classic victory during his visit to the “Speed Palace,” also hunting for the $4,000 top prize that accompanies it.

In addition to his recent victory at Lincoln Speedway, his seventh of the season in the Pigeon Hills, “Double-D” scored a runner-up performance at Trail-Way Speedway near Hanover on Sunday, August 27.  Dietrich led a segment of the 29-lap program before losing command to eventual winner, Brian Montieth.
