ROSSBURG, Ohio (June 15, 2019) – Mother Nature has been relentless in 2019, striking again during round two of Cometic Gasket Ohio Sprint Speedweek presented by Indy Metal Finishing at Eldora Speedway on Saturday, June 15.
Despite Eldora Speedway’s attempt to outrun Mother Nature by flexing start times by two hours, the effort proved to be not enough as wet weather invaded the Rossburg-area just after 1 p.m. leaving Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 and Eldora officials with little hope of completing the evening program. The event will not be rescheduled.
All Eldora Speedway tickets will be refunded via method of purchase. Suite holders will be contacted individually.
Ohio Sprint Speedweek will resume Sunday evening, June 16, at Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville.
In addition, MAVTV Motorsports Network will be present at Muskingum County to record all of the action, scheduled for a tape-delay broadcast in mid-September.
Keep in mind, Speed Shift TV, the official online broadcast partner of the All Star Circuit of Champions in 2019, will be conducting live video broadcasts during six of the seven remaining Ohio Sprint Speedweek programs: Wayne County Speedway – 6/17, Sharon Speedway – 6/18, Atomic Speedway – 6/19, Mansfield Motor Speedway – 6/20, Limaland Motorsports Park – 6/21, Wayne County Speedway – 6/22.
