MYERSTOWN, Pa. (May 7, 2018) – Brent Marks and Brent Marks Racing continued their sophomore campaign with the Greatest Show On Dirt with a pair of visits to Missouri and Oklahoma, joining the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series during starts at Lake Ozark (Mo.) Speedway and Salina (Okla.) Highbanks Speedway on Friday and Saturday, May 4-5.

After finishing 13th during A-main competition at Lake Ozark Speedway on Friday night, the result of a forward charge from the outside of row ten, the “Myerstown Missile” locked down his sixth top-ten finish of the 2018 season by finishing seventh during main event action at Salina Highbanks. The Myerstown, Pa., native started tenth on the feature grid, earning his way into the $10,000-to-win Twister Showdown by finishing fourth during his respective heat race.

Up next on the agenda, Brent Marks will follow the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series to the legendary Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, for #LetsRaceTwo weekend on May 11-12. Eldora Speedway will ignite a stretch of “local” action for Marks, as the World of Outlaws are scheduled to visit Lincoln (Pa.) Speedway and Williams Grove (Pa.) Speedway during the next two weeks.

“It’s a good feeling knowing that we have a top-ten finish under our belts heading into Eldora’s doubleheader,” Brent Marks said, driver of the Brent Marks Racing/M&M Painting & Construction/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Eagle Hotel/No. 19 sprint car. “There is not a lot to say about Eldora. It’s a place where everyone wants to win, including us. We are starting to get things rolling in the right direction. I have a wonderful group of people who support my race team. Hopefully we can keep the positive momentum going for them. We’re going to do whatever we can to get up front at The Big E.”
