GETTYSBURG, PA (October 9, 2017) – Earning victory lucky number 13 during his recent weekend of competition, “Double-D” Danny Dietrich claimed the “Run What You Brung” program at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, October 6. Although Dietrich has been a frequent visitor to victory lane in Central Pennsylvania, Friday’s prize was not achieved easily. The Gettysburg native chased Fawn Grove youngster, Matt Campbell, for much of the 25-lap program, finally driving by the familiar No. 16 with less than a handful of circuits remaining. Dietrich and Campbell exchanged the lead nearly ten times during the course of the final three laps.

In addition, “Double-D” Danny Dietrich finished second at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, October 7. The finale in the Pigeon Hills allowed Dietrich to earn his 12th top-five finish of the season at Lincoln Speedway, seven of which resulting in trips to victory lane.

“That was a solid weekend. We needed that one,” Dietrich said, pilot of the Gary Kauffman Racing/Weikert’s Livestock/Sandoe’s Fruit Market/Pace Performance/Gsell’s Whitetails/Hickory Run Orchards/Carlisle Auto Salvage/CATS Used Truck Parts/Drop Of Ink Tattoo/Bowman Block & Head Repair/Sweeney Cars/Self Made/No. 48. “We have a busy weekend coming up; three big paydays with the World of Outlaws. We’ll do what we can to represent our Central Pennsylvania fan base well while we are out on the road.”

Danny Dietrich will continue his 2017 campaign with three consecutive starts against the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series. Beginning on Saturday, October 14, Dietrich will launch his three-day sweep with the World of Outlaws with a visit to the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania. “Double-D” is certainly no stranger to competition at the Port Royal “Speed Palace,” claiming the 2017 Labor Day Classic victory on September 4 worth $4,000.

Hopping in the familiar Tom Buch-owned No. 13 for the remaining events on the weekend schedule, Danny Dietrich will venture north for a two-day swing through the Empire State, joining the Greatest Show On Dirt at Weedsport (NY) Speedway and Ransomville (NY) Speedway on Sunday and Monday, October 15-16, respectively.

Thus far in 2017, Dietrich has accumulated one top-five finish and three top-ten finishes during World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series competition.
