September Sweep ahead for Jared Miley Racing

PITTSBURGH, PA (September 21, 2017) – Since achieving his sixth super late model victory of the 2017 season, earning the “Late Model Special” win at Hummingbird (PA) Speedway worth $2,000 on September 16, “The Jet” Jared Miley has turned his focus further north, planning to revisit Eriez Speedway in Erie, Pennsylvania, for the annual September Sweep.
Featuring the ULMS Racing Series, September Sweep weekend will feature back-to-back nights of super late model competition that will award over $4,000 on Friday, September 22, and $6,000 on Saturday, September 23. As the defending September Sweep finale champion, Miley is certainly no stranger to big money at Eriez Speedway, also earning the Mike Farr Memorial title earlier this season worth over $4,000.
“September Sweep weekend is usually a lot of fun. We spend the entire weekend up there, so it gets us away from the city for a few nights in the fall while still getting to race,” Miley said, a recent first-time entrant at Eldora Speedway’s World 100. “We’ve always been good at Eriez. We’ll try to get one or two more this weekend.”
Other plans for the near future include making the trip to McKean County Raceway near East Smethport, Pennsylvania, for Fall Classic Weekend on Thursday through Saturday, September 28-30.

Recent Highlights: Finished 12th during Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competition at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Florida. Earned first win of 2017 at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Finished seventh during Firecracker 100 matinee at Lernerville Speedway. Earned win number two at Thunder Mountain Speedway on June 30. Scored third victory of 2017 season on Sunday, July 2, at Eriez Speedway. Earned pair of podium finishes at PPMS (1st) and Mansfield (2nd) on Saturday and Sunday, July 15-16. Scored victory during Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week event at Muskingum Co. Speedway. Scored sixth victory of the 2017 season at Hummingbird (PA) Speedway on September 16.
