MOTTVILLE SPEEDWAY BOMBER RULES
1. Eligible models: ANY front or rear wheel drive full size sedan, station wagon, pickup, van, suburban or mini van. Four wheel drive vehicles must have front drive shaft REMOVED. NO all wheel drive vehicles allowed. AIRBAGS MUST BE DEACTIVATED OR REMOVED.
2. Engine & Transmission: V6 or V8 (3.6 or larger) NO super charged or turbo charged engines allowed. Stock OEM air cleaner and tubes. Engine must be available from the factory in that make and model (driver must show proof) with stock automatic transmission only. Forward AND reverse gears must be operable. NO welded gears. NO headers. FULL exhaust must exit behind rear axle. Catalytic converter may be removed but must be replaced with steel pipe. Stock pump gas only. NO anti-freeze allowed
3. Body: Body must remain STOCK. NO gutting of doors, hood or trunk. Rear hatch, rear doors, tailgate must be in place. All glass, except windshield must be removed and all interior burnables must be removed. Doors must be welded or chained. Hoods must be secured with pins only. Stock dash must remain in place and wipers must be operable. NO trailer hitches. Stock steel bumpers and front and rear bumper covers must be in place at beginning of program. Sun roof openings must be enclosed with steel. If stock gas tank is located behind the rear axle, it must be replaced and relocated in front of axle. Fuel cell highly recommended.
4. Tires & wheels: STOCK wheels only! No trailer wheels or made for racing wheels. Maximum wheel size, 16 inches. All 4 tires must be same size 60, 65, 70, 75, 78 series. NO MADE FOR RACING TIRES ALLOWED. NO soaking or shaving of tires allowed.
5. Suspension: MUST REMAIN ABSOLUTELY STOCK. No spring spacers or blocks allowed. Maximum of 1 (ONE) inch camber on right front only. Other wheels must be at ZERO. STOCK factory shocks and struts only. No weight may be added. Stock ride height must be retained.
6. Safety: NO bars allowed in front of firewall or behind rear axle. NO bars behind bumpers. Racing seat optional. Window net and fire extinguisher required.
