Danny Dietrich earns three top-tens including All Star win at The Grove

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

GETTYSBURG, PA (August 22, 2017) – Officially tying his 2016 season win total, “Double-D” Danny Dietrich earned his ninth victory of 2017 on Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway, bettering all of the invading Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions to claim the 35th Annual Jack Gunn Memorial worth $5,000. Dietrich started third on the main event grid, leading the final 12 laps to secure his second Arctic Cat All Star victory of the 2017 season.

In addition to his $5,000 victory, Dietrich scored two additional Arctic Cat All Star top-ten finishes on Thursday and Sunday, August 17 & 20. The pilot of the Gary Kauffman Racing/Weikert’s Livestock/Sandoe’s Fruit Market/Pace Performance/Gsell’s Whitetails/Hickory Run Orchards/Carlisle Auto Salvage/CATS Used Truck Parts/Drop Of Ink Tattoo/Bowman Block & Head Repair/Sweeney Cars/Self Made/No. 48 finished sixth at Grandview Speedway on Thursday, followed by an eighth place performance at Susquehanna Speedway on Sunday. Each of his additional top-ten finishes were accomplished in impressive fashion, charging forward a grand total of 11 positions. Dietrich has accumulated ten top-ten finishes against “America’s Series” in 16 main event starts.

“I think we were still a little short of our expectations, but to come out at the end of the weekend with three top-ten finishes says a lot about this team and what we are capable of doing. We really enjoy racing with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions,” Dietrich explained. “We still have a lot of season ahead of us. There are plenty of big paying races on our schedule, so we’re going to keep working towards our goal of earning 20 victories in 2017.”

Danny Dietrich will enter four events in five days during the upcoming weekend including a start at the New Egypt Speedway in New Egypt, New Jersey, on Wednesday, August 23. Following his Jersey Rush start in the Tom Buch-owned No. 13, “Double-D” and Gary Kauffman Racing will visit Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, August 25, and the Trail-Way Speedway on Sunday, August 27. A plan for Saturday, August 26, will be determined later in the week.

“We want to race as much as possible and next few weeks allows that to happen,” Dietrich explained. “I can’t thank Gary Kauffman and Tom Buch enough for the opportunities that they give me. Everyone plays a huge role in both of these deals. I think we are all pretty excited to see what we can do this weekend.”
