Pepsi Fan Appreciation Night falls to rain at Stateline

 

Busti, NY (June 27, 2015): Once again rain has halted activities at Stateline Speedway Presented by Lite House Auto. Soaking rains all night with a 100% forecast for rain aSaturday into the evening hours have forced officials to cancel. A make-up of this very special event will be planned and announced as soon as details are available. Karting events at the "Little Track" also have been canceled.

 

Next weekend will be the much anticipated "Renegades of Dirt" event on Friday evening, the first time this traveling series based in the southeast will ever appear in this area. Joining the Sugar Grove Modifieds on Friday will be the Challengers, racing their summer special for $1000 to win. Stateline's Sportsman class will run a regular slate of events. Car Go Auto Parts is sponsoring the first of two appearances this season for the Pennsylvania Vintage Dirt Modifieds to cap off the racing action. The ATVs will run Friday night as well, sponsored by Loud Performance Products. 

 

At the conclusion of racing Friday, attention will move to the area off turn four for a very special appearance by Nashville Recording Artist Sean Patrick McGraw. The concert entertainment will last through the rest of the evening.

 

Saturday morning the Independence Day celebration will turn back to racing with the "Little Track" presenting a full slate of kart racing with gates opening at 8 AM. Hot laps will start at 10 AM with racing to follow. The "Big Track" pit gates will open at 5 PM for the second visit of the Patriot Sprint Tour, Overhead Door of Jamestown Super Late Models, the Shults Auto Group RUSH Crate Late Models, Limited Late Models, and Street Stocks. Lastly, a huge fireworks display, traditional for Independence Day celebrations, will cap up the weekend.

 

Friday pit gates open at 3:00 PM, grandstand at 4:30 PM and racing at 6:30 PM. General admission tickets are $17 for Adults, $15 for Sr/Veterans and $5 for Students (6-15), while kids under 6 are free. All tickets on Friday July 3rd include admission to the Sean Patrick McGraw concert. Saturday pit gates open at 3:30, grandstand at 5PM and racing at 7PM. General admission tickets are $20 for Adults, $18 for Sr/Veterans and $8 for Students (6-15), while kids under 6 are free. Family passes can be purchased which include 2 adults and UNLIMITED kids 15 and under for $40 on Friday July 3 and $50 for Saturday July 4th.
