Jamie York

This past Saturday night at the South Bend Motor Speedway young driver in the Michiana Vintage Racers Jamie York was on track in his family owned #61 sprinter.  As the sun was high in the shy it created some issues for Jamie and hit a car on the track ramping the wheel and hit the wall. Jamie was helped out of the car and fell to the ground. Jamie was taken by family to the hospital and is fine today. The car has some damage but the crew will work to get it fixed and back on track for dispay.

The Vintage racers travel to local tracks displaying cars reminding fans of days gone by and talking to old timers about the racing memories of the past. We are glad Jamie is ok and look forward to seeing him back on track soon.
