Late Model Preview for the New Paris Speedway Blowout

As we get ready to crown our very first Michiana Speed Zone / New Paris Speedway TV champion this Sunday at the hottest quarter mile in the Midwest we take a look at this weekends warriors who are getting set and ready to go racing. $1500 on the line plus the top 4 fastest cars have the option to start the tail for extra cash if they win making it $2000 to win. Add in $100 to win heats and we have us a great weekend of racing.

As we talk about the points Corey Pressler just needs to start the main event to win his first championship at the New Paris Speedway. 2-10 in points well a lot could happen and they are racing for a points fund so every spot helps come the banquet in Janunary. Eddie Santora has one win to his name and has a slim 63 point advantage over Steve Stacy in third. Stacy was in fact the Plymouth Speedway Champion and is looking to take 2nd in points. Corey Ryman is the only yes I said only repeat winner this year and is just 20 points out of third and could possibly move all the way up to second. Corey is looking to keep him self as the only repeat winner in 2011. The real story is that of 5th and 6th. As of now Lil Donny Klotz with a win holds 5th place over the Bad Boy Bobby Schischler by a very very slim 6 point margin. As for the rest of the top 10 Josh Sommers is only 37 points out of 5th and with the year he has had he would love to gain those spots. Mark Vance is 8th in points but has Kenny Whittman right behind him with only 16 points to gain. Mike Tutino has a win as well and holds down 10th in points but Travis Schlabach is gaining quick. Out of the top 15 in points only 5 have not won a feature this year and the big story here is our points leader has not yet made it to victory lane in 2011 !!! Ty Hayes, Mark Vance, Ronnie Maynard Jr, and Kenny Whittman all have not won yet. Last week I spoke with Corey Pressler as he works to be the champ in 2011 and he stated "watch out tonight man I want a win and I sure don't need these fenders, its checkers or wreckers for me". Shortly after this interview the rain and heavy storms came in and washed us out giving Corey an extra week to think about his game plan. Now with the final points night taking place at the blowout with double the pay and well over double the laps things will get crazy.

Ok here is what you are waiting for the rumors and gossip on who will make the show and who will not............. Tyler Roahrig who has been in the 6x for the X Factor racing team has confirmed school has started and he will not make the show. His father and the hot shoe on the year JR Roahrig will also not be able to make the show. Ronnie Maynard JR has done a lot of work to the Scott's Computer World #0 and will be back looking for a fast time award and a big win. Charlie Cotton has been getting better and better and early report is he will make the tow from Claypool as well. Jay Howard has teamed up with Jack Reed and has been leading laps every week. If you are a betting man i would go on the long shot with the 68x. Talks with Jeff Ganus say he is coming and ready to win his first of the year at New Paris. Criag Cassel was on hand two weeks ago and he has always been good at New Paris. Josh Taylor has been on the property the past few weeks and has the car dialed in as well. Ty Hayes is saying he may not make it this year which would be an upset to his fans.

Plymouth Speedway has seen some hot shoes this year and it is possible to see the #4 of Adam Terry and the #42 of Brian Ross.

Also Angola Motor Speedway is done for the year and Craig Everage who looked really sporty at both the Sizzler and the Big Gun will be on hand in his #30 hot rod and he will be one to watch. Robby Henderson and Brent Jack both also may make the show as well form Angola. We have yet to see Billy Shannon in the Dillon car as well. Two weeks ago we had 21 cars in the pits and this week we may as well hit 28 to 30 or more. M 40 Speedway is off and we could see Robbie Ferrier and Doug True make the tow. What about John Long he has wins at NPS and could be the upset of the week. Ok so now some guys we will not see. Mike Kugler had planned to make the race but had issues in the last race he was in and will not make it. Mike Tutino who is 10th place in points has stated he will not be able to make this show. Things will get crazy thats for sure !!!

POINTS ON THE LINE !!!! 100 LAPS MAD HOUSE STYLE !!!! $1500 TO WIN WITH A FAST 4 BONUS OF $500 !!!!! CAMPERS DRINKS> !!!!

The place to be to see some of the best racing of the year in 2011 will be New Paris Speedway this weekend !!!
