RADICAL RICH BOAL TAKES OLM FEATURE AT MOTTVILLE!

MOTTVILLE,MI., SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22,2011-Radical Rich Boal took the lead on lap 7 of the 30 lap Outlaw Late Model feature Saturday night at the Mottville Speedway and then held off a challenge from Ty Hayes to take the win and $790!
Josh Sommers led the first 6 laps and was running 3rd coming out of turn 2 on the final lap when he spun, falling back.
Ron Maynard, Jr was 3rd followed by Randy Day, Al Mcglothlen, Jason Howard, Ed Santora, Sommers, Nick Pressler, Jeff Holden, Ken Lollar, Jason Bixler, Rod England and Randy Pressler.
the 30 lap feature was caution free!
LOllar and Maynard took the heats while the Dash for Cash went to Howard.
A huge thank-you goes out to all our sponsors for the event as we raised $500 in overall sponsorship plus $70 for Dash for Cash and $600 for lap sponsors!
Everyone seemed to be of the opinion we should do this again next year!
Boal also received a 4 foot high trophy for his win!
Rodney Spencer won the 25 lap Street Stock feature over Jzacob Maynard, Corey Woods, Steven Woods, Dave Logan, Chrios Gour, Brad Blackburn, Sr., Randy Nettleton, Larry Hollenbeck, Mike Bess and Ben King.
Spencer won the dash and Logan the heat.
Eric Frazier won the 25 lap Mini Stock feature over Josh Dunnuck, bobby Laughter, Kevin Grjubb, Larry Fullbright, Justin Graber and Eric Kuenstler.
Frazier won the dash and Dunnuck won the heat.
Dave Logan brought a brand new Mini Thunder Car to Mottville and it was fast as he won the 25 lap feature over Todd Roberts, Spencer Wortinger, Eric Frazier, Jack Hurford, David Terry, Steven Woods, Addison Davis and Michael Ellsworth.
Roberts won the dash and Logan won the heat.
Pure Stocks returned to action for the first time in many weeks and Dave Logan won the 15 lap feature over David Terry and Steven Woods.
Terry won the heat.
A total of 46 cars were on hand.
Sunday gates open at 3pm with racing at 4pm!
Trophies to the top 5 in each division!
