Autograph Night, E-Mod special this Sunday at Eriez Speedway

Hammett, PA (July 9, 2015): The annual Autograph Night, always a fan favorite, happens this Sunday, July 12, at Eriez Speedway when all the teams will gather on the front straight and the gates will be opened for fans to flood onto the track for a session of interaction with drivers and teams up close to the machines that fans love so much. Many teams will have candy and gifts for fans of all ages and all fans are welcome to interact with the stars they cheer on every week.

Of course all seven divisions will race with the Plyler Overhead Door E-Mods being the featured class this week, vying for a winner's purse of $1000! Defending champion Joel Watson currently holds a huge 257-point edge over second-running Steve Rex with Steve Simon just another eight points back. Although neither second nor third place have a feature win yet this season, both drivers have improved vastly and are on the verge of their first wins. This would be the prime week to break through. Mike Kinney is only 19-points back of Simon with Troy Carr another 103-markers back. Watson is the only driver in the top five with a feature win. Steve Dixon, Dan Davies, and last week's winner John Boyd have the other wins this season.

Darrell Bossard doesn't have a win yet this season, but consistent finishes near the front have propelled him to the lead in the Jay's Auto Wrecking Super Late Models season points standings. Opening night winner Chris Hackett is second, only 21-points from the lead. Two-time defending champion Rob Blair is third with two-time 2015 winner Max Blair fourth. Ryan Scott is currently fifth. World of Outlaws regular Chase Junghans grabbed the other win in his only visit to Eriez.

Defending champion Kyle Zimmerman leads the Bonnell Collision Center RUSH Crate Late Models with one win this season and holds a slim nine-point lead over Matt Latta, not yet a winner in 2015. Another former champion, Chad Wright, is third and has one win and is only twenty points from second. Scott Gurdak is fourth with Max Blair (two wins including the RUSH Touring event) in fifth. Ward Schell captured a non-point special earlier in the season.

Past champion Ryan Scott has three wins and leads the title chase for the Kandy's Gentlemen's Club Limited Late Models by only ten points over another past champion, Chris McGuire. McGuire has two wins, the only driver other than Scott to win this season. Mike Moon is third, another 170-points behind McGuire. Bill Applebee and Anthony Marotto fill out the top five.

Jimmy Kennerknecht got his first feature win in almost ten years earlier in the season and has run up front most nights to build a slight lead of seven-points in the Nelson Lynwood Nursery Street Stocks championship tilt over former champion Don McGuire. Another 69-markers is the margin back to former champion Chris Withers, third in this year's chase. Mark Thompson and his pristine '57 Chevy is fourth with Mark Ramsey fifth. Other winners this season are Brandon Groters twice, and Tyler Green, last week's winner.

Triple winner Casey Bowers leads the Clinger E-Mod Chassis Economods standings with a substantial 170-point margin over Dennis Hagg, Eric Reinwald, and single winners Ty Rhoades and Josh Ferry.

With two wins, Andy Proper leads the Ran-Dan Excavating Challengers championship standings by 165-points over defending champion Jason Brightman, who is winless this year so far. Aaron Marcy is third with Ryan White fourth and single winner Thomas Cupp fifth. Lindsey Carlson and Steve Morse have the other wins.
