Dixie Motor Speedway Birch Run, Michigan (Wednesday, March 17, 2010): As the 2010 racing season gets closer and closer to reality for the Dixie Motor Speedway Presented by Draper Auto Group, businesses from around the Greater Flint and Tri-Cities (Bay City, Midland, Saginaw) area continue to line up in support of the Birch Run, Michigan speed plant and one of the most popular events of the season just got bigger!

The widely popular Eve of Destruction nights, the Original, Often Copied, Often Imitated, But Never EVER Duplicated nights of carnage have taken on a new life for the upcoming campaign as Muffler Man Auto Service Centers of the Greater Flint area have stepped up to the plate in a huge way as the title sponsor of what will be known as the Muffler Man Eve of Destruction Series!

The new and exciting series featuring the hugely popular nights of carnage, destruction and mayhem will be in action four (4) times during the 2010 racing season and those dates are set for; Sunday, June 6th; Sunday, July 4th; Sunday, August 8th; and Friday, September 10th.

The Muffler Man Eve of Destruction Series are highlighted by the highly anticipated School Bus Figure 8s as well as the always exciting Figure 8 Trailer Races, the teams events of Chain-Gang Races and Crash Cars Events, the new from 2009 Flagpole Races, the always entertaining Spectator Drags, and more.

Muffler Man Auto Service Centers serve the greater Flint, Michigan area and are dedicated to making sure your car is running smoothly.

The Christensen family founded Muffler Man Auto Service Center in 1967. The first store location was and still is on North Saginaw Street in Flint, Michigan.

The Tuesday Night Test and Tunes will continue every Tuesday night throughout the year. Every Tuesday night, Practice will run from 3:00p.m.-7:30p.m. The Pits must be cleared out by 9:00p.m., on Tuesdays. Opening Night 2010 is set for Friday, April 30th as it is the Birch Run AYSO Kick-Off and the Frankenmuth Chamber Ribbon Cutting ceremony will also be going on as the action on the track will feature the Pro Late Models, Modifieds, and Pro Stocks (Formerly Sportsmen) on the 4/10s (0.400) mile progressively banked paved oval. The Street Stocks and Birch Run / Bridgeport Herald Bombers will challenge the adjoining 1/3 (0.333) mile semi-banked paved oval while the Mike's Auto Parts Figure 8s will close out the night as they take on the inner Figure 8 track.
