Ron Schultz Takes Heaven's Checkered Flag

It is with much regret that I announce that Ron Schultz passed away Thursday. Ron was once a flagman at tracks like NewParis,Plymouth,South Bend,and Angola Speedways. I met Ron only once last year at Plymouth Speedway. I ran into Ron in the Plymouth Speedway pit area during the CRA Super Series race there. I grew up reading Ron's Another View racing column in Marc Times Racing News. I did not get to talk with Ron very long. I wish I could have sat down and talked with Ron in detail. His knowledge of racing history in the Michiana area and his column will be missed. God speed Mr Ron Schultz. Tom Botos
