Our mission at Michiana Speed Zone is to highlight our local drivers, and bring more visitors to our great racetracks. With the more visitors to our area there will be more customers for our local businesses. We truly are developing a situation in which all parties involved will benefit. What a night of racing at the Angola Motor Speedway. Some of the fastest cars in the area showed up to pay tribute to the "Godfather" Stan Perry. Track record for the Super Outlaw latemodels fell, blazing speeds held true all night.
Derrick Griffin in the Bobby Blount owned #16 takes the win in the 110 lap race. Derrick only lead one lap and he made it the right one. With about 15 to go Derrick tried to pass #9 Parr and they got together in 1 and 2. Derrick waited then until the last lap and made a bump and run move that turned out to be the winning move.
The Modified 50 lapper seen Dave Bice take home the purse in first place and Mark Mason took the front wheel drive race.
