Lets get ready to rumble New Paris Speedway. Here is your starting line up for Michiana Speed Zone:
Starting May 1st only on SBT 2 at 5pm you will get to meet 8 of the stars of the Michiana Speed Zone/ New Paris Speedway Late Model TV Championship. Get to know the ins and outs of the drivers as we watch them work on their cars and see the families who help them. Also we will sit down and talk to the drivers and hear what they think about competition in 2011 and who they see winning the 2011 track Championship.
Here is your starting line up for Michiana Speed Zone:
Starting on the poll he will drive the "FAMOUS" #16 that won the Stan Perry Memorial in 2010. He is a young driver that many have not heard of YET !!! Lets give a big New Paris Speedway welcome to "THE YOUNGSTER" Grant Galloway. He will have one of the best crew chiefs in the racing world behind him as Bobby Blount will help this young man along his way as he races full time at New Paris Speedway
First row outside will be the driver of the #50 C and C Race Cars and Fabrication special Hurricane Charlie Cotton. "MR.ATTITUDE " will be hungry for that win opening night as he knows he has what it takes to stay on top of his game even with an injured crew chief.
Second row inside is "THE INVADER" Bobby Schisler JR your many time Street Stock Track Champ. He catches a ride for Rick Slusher in the #4 machine and is ready to show he can drive anything with 4 wheels.
Along side him is "THE POOR FUNNY GUY" who is out for a good time and ready to make some laps is his #16 Super Late Model. He has spent all winter planning and getting ready and he will show all who is boss when he comes out of the box stronger than last year.Tom Smith is your driver from Edwardsburg MI.
From Matawan MI he will drive his #5 to the inside of the 3rd row he is none other than "THE OUTSIDER" Eddie Santora. Mr.Santora is well prepared for 2011 and he has already found victory lane in years past. Look for this seasoned veteran to show his raw talent week in and week out.
Outside the 3rd row is the youngster and former Street Stock Track Champ Josh Sommers. Josh will bring the Challenger Door hot rod to the front in a hurry. You will look forward to Josh's weekly inside as he is known as "MR.COCKY" but he does back it up on the track and in victory lane.
Starting inside the 4th row will be in fact the #9 from Elkhart "THE PRETTY BOY" Kenny Whittman in the Whittman Auto Sales special. He has had a run of bad luck but promises 2011 is his year. He has the talent and determination like no other and wants to get that checkered flag.
Along side for the ride is "MR.CONFIDENT" Corey Ryman. Corey has a sweet taste of victory in 2010 and was the only driver to make it into 3 of the 4 big big money races in 2010. Same car same motor same desire to be a front runner look for him to come out of the box strong and show he has the positive attitude on and off the track to be a true champion.
