KID’S NIGHT STARTS UP NAPA WAYNE COUNTY SPEEDWAY’S AUGUST ACTION; FINAL MONTH OF CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS RACES

The calendar has turned to August and the 2017 racing season is winding down to just a few laps to go at NAPA Wayne County Speedway with Saturday, August 5th getting the month started with Kid’s Night and ‘Summer Series’ racing for the Lowes Super Stocks and the WQKT 104.5 Mini Stocks along with the Fisher Performance Sprints and the Kar Connection Super Late Models. Some of the activities for the Kid’s Night will include a Bounce House, a Gold Rush, Drivers autographs, Snow Cones, plus a lot of prizes including bikes for the kids all through the night.  

On Saturday, August 12th, the Kar Connection Super Late Models, Lowes Super Stock and the WQKT 104.5 Mini Stocks will make up the racing card for the evening. Then on Saturday, August 19th, the Ohio Sprint Car Series will return for their last race at ‘Orrville’s Historic Oval’ and the last race of the Attica Raceway Park/ NAPA Wayne County Speedway Super Late Model Challenge will also take place as the Lowes Super Stocks and the WQKT 104.5 Mini Stocks will also be racing.

The final points race will happen on Season Championship night on Saturday, August 26th with double points for all four class’ of cars.

The racing season does not end there as Tony Stewart’s Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions still have two dates left at NAPA WCS with the 1st one being the Pete Jacobs Memorial on Sunday, September 3rd with $10,000 going to the winner. The ASCoC will close out NAPA Wayne County Speedway’s season on Saturday, October 7th with a $5,000 to win show. The Lowes Super Stocks will also be in action for both of the All Star events.

In between the All Star races will be the 5th annual Dirt Blow Out on Friday and Saturday, September 22nd and 23rd. The rained out Don Gross Memorial with a $4,000 to win feature will be the headline event of this years Dirt Blow Out. Practice and a NEW (never ever won) race will be held on Friday with a BBQ held after. On Saturday, a open to anybody Chili Cook Off will take place with the top three “Chili’s” receiving cash prizes. All four of the regular class’ will be racing in the Dirt Blow Out.
