DELLS NEXT FOR TUNDRA, NO MAKE UP DATE FOR GOLDEN SANDS

PORTAGE, Wis. (September 9, 2018) – The TUNDRA Super Late Model Series Powered by Wisconsin Potatoes will make its next stop and round out its season on Sunday, September 23 at Dells Raceway Park. The postponed event at Golden Sands will not be rescheduled.

“Unfortunately, when you get this late in the season you run out of rescheduling options in a hurry,” said series representative Matt Panure. “We’re now into the time of fall specials where every weekend is booked up and teams and fans have made plans well in advance. We want to be respectful of those who are putting on the events and those who are committed to going.”

“We would also like to thank Golden Sands and the Smiley family for their continued belief in TUNDRA,” Panure said. “We look forward to working with them again in 2019 and encourage everyone to attend their Harvest Super Late Model Race on October 13.”

This leaves one race to settle a wild TUNDRA point battle. John Beale leads Casey Johnson by five points with Justin Mondeik in Third just eight points back. Dennis Prunty and Neil Knoblock have teamed to be just 10 points out of the lead in Fourth. Colin Reffner rounds out the Top Five just 19 points back from the leader.

Round Six at Dells Raceway Park begins with qualifying at 12:30 and racing at 2 p.m. More information will be available shortly though tundrasuperlates.com
