The 2010 Dixie Cup Triple Crown Series Outlaw Super Late Models three-race schedule will begin on Friday, June 11th with the running of the 2nd annual East VS West Shootout 100. Dakota Carlson, who will now wheel the potent Zent-Hudson Motorsports #5 machine previously driven by the now retired John Doering Jr., comes into the Triple Crown Series season opener as the reigning champion of the East / West Shootout.

The second jewel of the Triple Crown is one of the most prestigious races in the country, the 47th annual Dixie Classic 100 on Friday, July 16th. Doering Jr., rode off into the sunset of retirement in his last race of his career at his home track by collecting his record seventh Dixie Classic 100 victory in 2009. One of the oldest and tradition laden races in the entire country will be the middle jewel of the Triple Crown Series.

The third and final leg of the series will be a part of BIG ONE VIII on Friday, August 6th with the running of the Great Lakes 100. This is a brand new race to the Dixie Cup Triple Crown Series schedule and also an extremely important event as the 2010 Dixie Cup Triple Crown Series Champion will be decided. The fire breathing, winged warriors of the Auto Value / Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints Series are also on the card for the best of both worlds for the great fans of Mid-Michigan.

Coming into the 2010 racing season, 2009 Series Co-Champions, Dakota Carlson and Mike Root will lead a strong contingent of Outlaw Super Late Model teams that will be going head to head in three grueling 100-lap features spread over the Triple Crown Series. Top stars include Johnny Belott, Harold Fair Jr., Eric Lee, Mike Luberda Jr., Justin Schroeder and more will all be looking to dethrone the reigning co-champions.

Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame drivers, Steve Sauve, John Grega, and Tim Felver, who returns to the Super Late Model ranks in 2010, will all have something to say about the outcome of the 2010 version of the Dixie Cup Triple Crown Series while established stars such as Scott Hantz, Brent Jack and more will collide with the likes of rising stars like Chad Finley, Andrew Hagan, and more.
