With the COVID 19 Federal and Ohio State Stay at Home law in effect until May 1st, Wayne County Speedway promoters Jason and Kristin Flory are announcing that all April races have been cancelled. The 2020 race season at ‘Orrville’s Historic Oval’ was to start this Saturday, April 11th along with the April 18th and 25th races. “We want all of our drivers and teams, the fans and our employees to be safe and healthy during this time,” said the Flory’s.  The tentative opening date is now May 2nd and that will depend on what the May 1st announcement from the Federal and Ohio State mandates that can happen with how many people will be able to gather at a location at one time. “Things change each day concerning the virus, but we will be ready to go racing whenever the government allows us to have our fans back in the stands,” commented Jason and Kristin. “The track is ready to go,” they said.
